Does the safari price include SANParks conservation fees?

Our rates cover the professional guide and open vehicle safari, but exclude the daily conservation fees. If you are a South African resident with a valid Wild Card, please bring it along (and your ID) to enter at no extra cost. Otherwise, the standard local resident rate will be payable at the gate.

Where exactly in Hazyview do you pick up from?

We provide a complimentary door-to-door collection service from all Hazyview hotels, guest houses, and lodges. Whether you are staying at a luxury estate or a local B&B, your guide will meet you at the reception area at 06h30 to ensure a prompt start to your morning drive.

Is this half-day game drive suitable for young children?

Yes, we welcome families! However, for safety and the comfort of all guests, children must be at least 6 years old to join a shared open vehicle safari. If you have younger children, please contact us about booking a private vehicle so your family can enjoy the Kruger at your own pace.

What happens if it rains on the morning of our safari?

The bush is spectacular in the rain, and the animals often stay active! Our custom safari vehicles are equipped with all-weather canvas tops and we provide waterproof ponchos and blankets. Unless the weather is deemed unsafe by SANParks, the drive will proceed as scheduled to ensure you don’t miss out on sightings.
