Collection in Johannesburg
You will be picked up between 7.00 and 7.30 am from your Johannesburg Hotel. Then we take a leisurely 4 hours' drive through Mpumalanga Province to its capital, Nelspruit and on to the Numbi Gate of the Kruger National Park.
Day 1: Johannesburg - Kruger Park - Skukuza Camp
From Numbi Gate we drive north east towards Skukuza on the Numbi to Skukuza road stopping off at the many waterholes along the way, viewing plenty of game as we do. Many animals move towards water in the hot afternoon sun, and you'll see herds of Impala and Waterbuck on the banks of the river. When we pass a shallow section of the river you may see a family of Hippos sleeping in the river, a sharp lookout being kept by the head of the family. Crocodiles are dotted about on the banks of the river, basking in the sun. By the time we arrive at Skukuza, the largest camp in the Kruger National Park. We will stop off at one of the camps for lunch on the way.
You'll be booking into Skukuza Camp before 17h30pm allowing you time to settle in do some shopping in the camps shop before a delicious dinner at the camp's restaurant awaits you at 19h00pm. The restaurant is alongside the river, so keep your eyes open for the spotted hyena, warthogs, the purple-crested Lourie and fruit bats.
Days 2: Kruger Park - Skukuza Camp (B D)

Everything starts early in the Kruger park in order to have a greater chance of seeing game, and our elusive predators still on the prowl, so you'll get a wake-up call at 05h00 in order to get on the road when the gates open at 06h00. We return to camp for breakfast at 08h30am, after which we slowly make our way back to Numbi Gate and exit the park. We arrive back in Johannesburg at 16h30pm.
